Monthly digital access
MEGA memberships provide monthly digital access to protected content, voting features, and member areas according to the selected tier. Access begins or changes only after payment is confirmed through Stripe and reflected in the member's account; returning from Checkout does not itself grant membership.
Legal rights and discretionary refunds
Refunds will be provided where required by applicable law. MEGA may also offer a discretionary goodwill refund after case-by-case review of matters such as duplicate charges, billing errors, or material technical access failures.
Nothing in this working policy limits mandatory consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Cancel future renewals
Members with a linked Stripe customer can use the account billing control to open the Stripe-hosted customer portal and cancel future monthly renewals. Verified access normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.
Cancelling does not automatically refund the current period, including where a member forgot to cancel before renewal. Any refund remains subject to mandatory law or MEGA's case-by-case goodwill review.
Abusive refund behavior
Repeated bad-faith refund claims, payment fraud, chargeback abuse, or attempts to retain benefits without payment may lead to account review or restriction. Genuine mistakes and good-faith support requests will be handled respectfully.
Billing contact
A verified billing-support contact and request procedure are not yet supplied. They must be added before live billing launch; the Stripe customer portal remains the implemented self-service route for subscription management.
